Tall Oaks Camp

About Us

A smile is the best expression, and Camp is the reason to smile.

Who we are

The 6 Pillars of Character

At Tall Oaks camp we find it very important to reinforce and remind each one of us the importance of displaying the characteristics of Fairness, Caring, Citizenship, Trustworthiness, Respect, and Responsibility.  This is what allows our society to function at the highest potential!  We talk about our societies being from as small as our cabin mates, to our camp, to our family, to our town, to our school, to our neighborhood, all the way up to our state, country and the world.  We all have a very important part to play and it starts with displaying these characteristics.

Our Mission

At Tall Oaks Camp, we believe in nurturing the potential of every child, regardless of economic status, by fostering a sense of community, belonging, and adventure in the great outdoors. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and vibrant camping experience where kids can explore nature, discover their strengths, develop lifelong skills, and create cherished memories. We are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and play beneath the tall oaks, where the only ceiling is the canopy of stars above.

An Odd Fellow bases their thoughts and actions on healthy philosophical principles. They believe that life is a commitment to improve and elevate the character of humanity through service and example. They support the idea that all people irrespective of creed, race, color, nationality, social status, sex, rank and station are brothers and sisters.

Our members must be 16 years or older, believe in a Supreme Being, Creator and Preserver of the Universe, and be faithful to their country. Oddfellow's and Rebekah's exhibit the standards of odd fellowship which are Friendship, Love, and Truth and are extended to rendering service to our communities.
