At Tall Oaks camp we find it very important to reinforce and remind each one of us the importance of displaying the characteristics of Fairness, Caring, Citizenship, Trustworthiness, Respect, and Responsibility. This is what allows our society to function at the highest potential! We talk about our societies being from as small as our cabin mates, to our camp, to our family, to our town, to our school, to our neighborhood, all the way up to our state, country and the world. We all have a very important part to play and it starts with displaying these characteristics.

At Tall Oaks Camp, we believe in nurturing the potential of every child, regardless of economic status, by fostering a sense of community, belonging, and adventure in the great outdoors. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and vibrant camping experience where kids can explore nature, discover their strengths, develop lifelong skills, and create cherished memories. We are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and play beneath the tall oaks, where the only ceiling is the canopy of stars above.

When kids camp is not in session we are open to the public enjoying this beautiful piece of property!...
Why Choose us
(Sunday at 2:00pm - Friday at 6:00pm), overnight summer camp located on the beautiful Big Star Lake in Baldwin, Michigan.
Planned for the week with greater than 80% of our time every day spent outdoors! Lots of fresh air and no screen time 😉
To meet other kids with similar interests in the relaxed camp setting. They get to bond together and face challenges together free of pressure and media distractions. Many build genuine friendships that last!
